Hear the bells,
~~The bells they chime, they ring
Hear the bells,
~~Of summer joy they sing
These are snippets found along the way during this journey called life. The things that I post are items that have caused me to pause and, by extension, may give me direction. There is Catholic Christian slant here. I lean that way, so why should I deny my blog the same good fortune?!? Thanks for visiting. Peace.

Mary,
Is this your photograph? Truly a great work of art. You are so gifted.
What kind of bells are these, anyway? I'm just curious, since I've got canterbury bell seedlings growing like mad on my porch, and I don't know what to expect when they (if they) eventually bloom.
I agree with Joey's Brigade, though---what a totally gorgeous photograph!

Yes, they are flowers that I noticed outside of a parish friend's window. Thanks to her neighbor, she is treated to a vista of flowers throughout the summer.

I think these are a variety of Campanula - not sure though. I think Canterbury's aren't quite so dainty. I'll have to watch your blog for pictures later in the summer!
Thanks to you both for stopping by!

I was wrong. When I didn't hear back from my friend who could tell me what they were, I searched the net and came up with them being Campanula. Well, my friend has since returned my call --- they are indeed Canterbury Bells! It seems that the less than dainty flowers I imagined were actually Foxglove. So, I stand corrected and apologize. Peace. ~~~mary
