Holy Day of Obligation

Since things can get hectic, I thought you might like a reminder that Friday the 15th of August is the day we celebrate the Mother of Christ's Assumption into Heaven.

It's noted in the Catechism that the "Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son's Resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians."
